At first, I read the Psalm 23 series with keen interest, however, the characters seem to have vacillate in their behaviors which seems almost as if someone else took over the writing along the way (Cindy has taken over the rescues and Jeremiah has been less on top of his game as the man who is in jeopardy of many enemies---the stories drag along--even with the detective Mark).....discouraged that the timetable of promised publication deadlines have become long-overdue--the author has taken on so many new series that she seems to have abandoned the ending of this one. When a reader is left hanging until the next book, and it doesn't appear when promised or even within that year....I lose trust that other series will have the follow-through---just don't appreciate the 'tease'.........have moved on to series authors that write good stories, end that 'chapter' of the series but make one want to come back.....(and have read so many throughout the year--just stopping back from time to time to see if Vigue has put any effort to bring the next book along)....very discouraging--won't start another series with this author.Product details

My best friend sent me the first book in the series---from then on I have read every one as quickly as I could so I could go on to the next till I caught up and would have to wait for the next to come out----Debbie Viguie has not disappointed me in any way in her writings---read them but be sure not to skip around start with #1.....you'll be glad.
Wow you don't want to read this one at night. Debbie does such an excellent job of describing the spooky places you feel like you are there. The characters just keep getting better and better as we get to know them more. There was a lot more Scripture in this one than the previous ones but it was woven in so well you don't feel preached at. Excellent! I can't wait for the next book.
I have read the entire series ao far. Each new book expands each character. The 'Paul twist' was crazy wierd. I like that each new story line carries a thread of the unsolved mystery. I now know a lot more about Judaism than when I started reading. (I do wish the heroine had a stronger name) . I guess the name goes along with the premise that she is a timid and fearful person in the beginning.
Awesome! Jeremiah and Cindy and Mark are on the hunt for a coven of witches who are sacrificing young women. This edition to the series is scary, exciting, and intense. I love how the characters are developing and growing. I have enjoyed every book in this series and have read each of them multiple times. Each installment to this series just keeps getting better. Highly recommended - but you need to read all of them in order to really appreciate the series.
Wow! Definitely the scariest and darkest so far of the Psalm 23 books. Jeremiah has changed since his return from Israel and Cindy and Mark especially are having a hard time re-establishing the relationships they want with him. What will bring Jeremiah to his senses? In the meantime, Jeremiah, Mark, and Cindy are in for the ride of their lives as they battle a deadly coven that is systematically killing young girls, and the victims are getting closer and closer to our heroes.
A wonderful continuation of my personal favorite series!!
The perfect book for Halloween coming up! I didn't even think of that as I opened it up...and finished it in one day!
Jeremiah is having a hard time getting back to "normal" after his and Cindy's trip to Israel. Cindy feels him pulling away, but he refuses to talk about what happened while they were there.
Mark calls Jeremiah and Cindy in on a murder case when a young girl is found in a basement. Looking like an occult killing the trio are creeped out by the whole experience and Cindy ends up in the hospital from an allergic reaction to something in the basement.
In the meantime First Shepherd church is getting ready for their first haunted house scare-fest. The youth pastor, fondly called "Wildman", Dave is in his element. Beyond excited to be able to reach out to many of the youth in town, he's come up with a haunted house maze filled with Biblical scenes that are sure to scare the pants off of everyone going through.
Add in an FBI agent that has worked these occult cases before and you have a story filled with murder, mayhem and the supernatural guaranteed to cause you a few restless hours in the middle of the night!
Normally I avoid anything that delves into the realm of satanism or witchcraft. Thankfully I WILL FEAR NO EVIL doesn't delve too far, although it is pretty creepy. I'm still a bit confused as to Trina's "real" job as the FBI agent. Seems she had some abilities to communicate with the supernatural, but it never really came out in the book. I wonder if her character will be developed in future books or if that is all we get to glimpse of her. There was a touching scene between Mark and Jeremiah that I really liked. It is now Mark's turn to counsel Jeremiah. There was a bit in the book that I didn't think held true to Traci's character as a strong woman and so I was a bit disappointed in that. Eventually Jeremiah and Cindy are able to have a moment to talk about their feelings that were expressed while in Israel, and there are a few pretty steamy kisses between them. But there are still hurdles in that relationship I'm afraid. I had the luxury of being able to read this in one day, only because I ignored everything else and kept turning those pages! If you are looking for something to get your fright-bone shivering at this time of year then definitely pick up this suspense and enjoy!
This volume of murder and intrigued follows Cindy and the Rabbi as they aid their friend, the homicide Detective Mark during the Halloween season.
Someone has decided to gain 'dark powers' by sacrificing humans. It appears someone wants immortality. This novel is a good warning for those that are vulnerable to stronger minds. As well as a darn good and scary Halloween tale.
Don't worry though. It gets solved and then we find Zorro to the rescue! And, I'm not kidding!
This is a continuing great murder mystery series. Action and dialog packed. I heartily suggest you give it a read, do so from volume one as you will grow with the characters.
