Once again we are plunged into the post-apocalyptic world where we learn how Silver gets her name and the blossoming relationship with Alex and why...I don't give spoilers.

It's a hard-hitting, gritty tale of darkness and duty and cruelty - another journey into the background of the characters before the next book that will take us 'back to the future' - really looking forward to it.

I will say that it is full of gore, violence and sex, yet it fits in with the story and its believable characters.

Another 'hit' as far as I'm concerned, but be warned, it is not a light read. Having said that, I would recommend it to those who love a well-written powerful story.
I love her works, very well thought out, imaginative, dark and seed environment. Great plot line and character development. Puts you right in the gutter and you'll like it.
Read well into the night when I should have been sleeping.
